Dental Checkups & Cleanings

Dr. Seredynski encourages patients to receive six-month dental checkups and cleanings to prevent cavities, gum disease, and a host of other common oral health problems. Not only will we check for these potential issues, but we’ll also look for any signs of oral cancer as part of a normal screening process. One of our dental hygienists will then remove existing plaque and tartar, so your chances of developing gingivitis decrease. No appointment is complete, though, without our team providing ways to improve at-home oral hygiene.
Gum Disease Treatment

What can begin as gingivitis – a reversible form of gum disease – can quickly progress to bone and tooth loss if left untreated. Fortunately, we offer gum disease treatment in the form of scaling and root planing, so you can take back control of your oral health and eliminate harmful bacteria that are attacking your gums, teeth, bone, and other areas of your body. After carefully reviewing your case, we will develop a personalized treatment plan that produces long-term results.
Children’s Dentistry

Children are welcome at Arlington Smiles Dental Studio. Dr. Seredynski is enthusiastic about helping young patients and delivering top-tier care no matter how big or small the smile. By offering kid-friendly services in our dental office, he can help little ones establish healthy habits as well as produce solutions that successfully protect, improve, and restore young smiles of all ages.
Fluoride Treatment

Fluoride is safe to use and highly effective in reducing the risk of cavities by strengthening tooth enamel and remineralizing weakened areas, as well as protecting against future decay. Its fast application after a dental checkup and painless approach make it a suitable form of treatment for children and adults. Once in place, we recommend you avoid eating or drinking for at least 30 minutes to allow the fluoride to penetrate the enamel and begin its work of delivering optimal protection.
Dental Sealants

Dental sealants are commonly used to safeguard a child’s molars and premolars; however, they can also be applied to adults who are prone to developing cavities along the chewing surfaces of back teeth. When combining less healthy foods with novice brushing techniques, these areas of the mouth can be neglected, resulting in cavities forming. However, by painting a clear coat of dental sealant over the chewing surfaces, teeth can remain properly protected for up to 10 years.
Athletic Mouthguards / Sportsguards

Do you or your child like to play sports? A customized athletic mouthguard/sportsguard might be the solution if you want to avoid a trip to the emergency dentist’s office. We’ll take impressions of your mouth and have a customized oral appliance crafted to fit comfortably inside your mouth. When on the field, track, or court, your smile will remain better protected thanks to the barrier located between your teeth and an unwanted hit or fall.
Nightguards for Bruxism

Enamel erosion and jaw pain are just two of the potential problems that can arise when dealing with bruxism. More commonly known as teeth grinding and clenching, you may be unaware of your problem until visiting Dr. Seredynski. After reviewing your smile, he will determine if a custom nightguard is necessary to prevent further damage and ensure a more restful and pain-free night’s sleep. When worn regularly, your teeth, jaw joints, and overall health will likely improve so that you can avoid potentially invasive and complex treatment in the future.
